Ok So I'm new to posting here and don't know if anyone else has 
already touched on this subject or not, but here it goes...

I'm wondering about the death that is happening in OotP and I can't 
help but to wonder if it's something so simple that we wouldn't even 
think of it. I think it could be (and I hate to say it) Sirius Black 
and here's why.

On page 712 (US paperback) Dumbledore makes Sirius reveal himself. 
This means at the end of book 4 the only people who know about Sirius 
are Harry, Ron, Hermione, Lupin, Peter Pettigrew, Dumbledore, Snape, 
Mrs. Weasley, and Rita Skeeter. Dumbledore sends Sirius to alert 
the "old crowd" which includes some names not on the list of those 
who know about Sirius. One of which is Arabella Figg who we pretty 
much know watches over harry at privet drive. So what if Sirius goes 
to her and she, not knowing his story, kills him in an effort to 
protect harry before he can explain? 

Maybe I am way off here but I would like to know what everyone else 
thinks.
