Wow, that seems pretty cynical to think that she would give in to
such wordly constraints, especially since she's had the ending in
mind since she first conceived the story. I hope Rowling doesn't put
anything *in*, or leave anything *out* simply out of good business
sense. I don't think she was saying, "Yeah, Harry's going to bite it
in book 7," I think, IMHO, she was just saying not to take anything
for granted and that she still has control over her work.
I'm curious about the point she doesn't want us to guess. I suppose
we won't know for a while who's even come close. That's bittersweet,
that is, because I'd hate to ruin it for her, but this group and
others will, of course, continue to theorize until we all have book 7
in our hot little hands.
