I wonder if it has anything to do with an item about JKR mentioned
on the TLC chat board: I'm not quoting, and I don't even know if I
got the details right, but it was something like that JKR didn't
want emphasis to be placed on her religious beliefs (Christian)
because she was afraid it would give away the pivotal plot point of
the series. Or something. Maybe there is more to the New Testament
allegory theory than the naysayers would like to admit? Or maybe
not, lol...
