I wasn't sure how to head this without giving anything away so I hope the title makes sense.

OK, I'm writing because I'm a bit concerned about something. You see Sirius described his Great-great-grandfather, Phineas Nigellus, as being the "least popular headmaster Hogwarts ever had" and he's part of Sirius's 'mudblood/half-breed hating' family yet I found that I kinda liked him and that when the book describes his finding out about Sirius's death and then Harry speculating on him going to every picture in the house calling for Sirius, I actually felt for him. He seemed to only pretend that he didn't care about Sirius (unlike Sirius's Mother) but I'm just a bit worried there's something wrong with me if I like and feel for him when he's supposed to be unpopular. There was just something incredibly funny about his (paraphrase) "this is why I didn't want to be a teacher" line but that could be connected to the fact that my mum is a teacher.
Did anyone else find themselves liking Phineas Nigellus?
And also for some reason I got the most funny picture of the Muppets in my head whenever they mentioned Sirius's mum screaming when there was a loud noise made. I'm not sure why though as I haven't watched anything connected to the Muppets in the last 4 years and so can't quite finish the connection. Oh well.
HOLLYDAZE!!!
"Give her hell for us Peeves"
And Peeves, who Harry had never seen take an order from a student before, swept his belled hat from his head and sprang to a salute as Fred and George wheeled about to tumultuous applause from the students below and sped out of the open doors into a glorious sunset. Pg 595 UK OOP
