inclusion of the whole "Neville was a possibility" thing. But, now it
makes me think that there's no guessing whether or not Harry dies
because, if he died, then the books would be left with the whole world
being screwed over, so there's pretty much no way she could have Harry
die.>
Two things - first, Harry could most definitely die at the end of book
7. I would hate it and would be absolutely furious with JKR, but it
can happen.
Second - does anyone else wonder about Neville's role in the prophecy?
Isn't it still possible that Neville might help Voldemort kick the
bucket once and for all? Or that Neville and Voldemort might die,
ensuring Harry's survival? I'm still working out the prophecy, but I
find it pleasantly vague enough to wonder if there's more to it than
what we're interpreting now.

the fact that she'd been with Cedric a whopping 6 months earlier).
I'd hoped for more Ron/Hermione development.>
I found it rather icky too, but after finishing OoP, I'm glad it was
icky. I have always felt that a relationship between Cho and Harry
would be disastrous, uncomfortable and strange, and that's exactly
what it was. Cho was clearly still mourning the loss of Cedric and
seemed to want (among other things, which I'll get to) comfort and
maybe some answers from Harry, something he could never give.
Really, though, I am wondering if Cho is characterized as the kind of
girl who only dates the popular/strong/best athlete/most handsome
boys. Cho seemed to be looking for validation from Harry - if he
found her attractive, she found value in herself. I didn't like JKR's
characterization of Cho, but perhaps she went out of her way to create
a Cho we didn't like to drive home the fact that she and Harry as a
couple could never work.
