It also brings up the question of does what kind of wand signal what 
kind of wizard?  Oop mentions that Umbridges wand is "unusually 
short".  And at the MoM they keep a log of what kind of wands go in.  
Is this only to track people?  Like guns, wands are registered?  Can 
people illegally get wands??
