Forgive me if I sound naive...this is my first post. I've been
lurking for about a month. I am so heartbroken about Sirius' death!
I can hardly stand it. How will Harry ever have a happy ending to
his story? I'm sure that's what JK wants us to feel but really,
how? As we learned from the Mirror of Erised, Harry's greatest
desire is for a family. And now, the one person left who could've
been that for him, is gone. I'm also bothered about the lack of a
funeral or memorial. Also, the mirror that Sirius gave him...I think
he will regret breaking it someday. JK made the whole death of
Sirius so unsatisfying and then rubbed it in a hundred different
ways. I just can't imagine how Harry will ever be happy again. Even
Luna's mention of the "veil" didn't give me much hope. Will we see
Harry cross over the veil in book 7? Is that how he will finally
find his family?
In bitterness and angst,
JJ
