Now me (Cindy):
I was quite shocked when Harry said 'crucio'. In fact, I thought that
I had read it worng, so reread it again slowly. I think my mouth might
have dropped open too aftee that, I'm not sure... And he is rather
dissapointed that it didn't affect her very much. Now that she's told
him how to make it work, maybe he'll practice it on another Death
Eater? It's interesting though, he is definately giving them a taste
of their own medicine, and I like the idea of that.

And me again (Cindy):
I've thought about that also. I don't think it will kill his love,
becuase he will still feel love for Hermione & Ron, and Voldemort
can't bare that. But, if something like that was to happen, he might
start to feel more hate than love, and the hate could start cancelling
the other emotion out. Harry still has a lot to learn. This was
obvious at the end of ootp, when he encounters Snape in the Great
Hall. He'll never forgive him for what exactly? For saving his life?
For giving Umbridge fake Veritaserum, and then not giving it to her at
all? For trying to teach him something important, and therefore
putting his own life in danger by doing it... What if Draco didn't
storm into Snape's office, what if he had casually walked up to the
door, and heard what they were getting up to inside? I don't need to
say what would have happend to Snape.
I think that Harry has already started falling a bit, and I think that
Dumbledore senses this, which is why he wouldn't let him leave his
office untill he had a long talk with him. I think Dumbledore is
afraid that what happend to Tom Riddle could happen to Harry, so he is
trying to talk to him more, and make him understand what he is
feeling. Hopefully, Harry will grow up fast, because he needs to if
he's going to survive.
Just a couple of my thoughts on Harry & the Dark Side...
