I'm not sure if people have made my points or asked my questions as
there are just too many messages comming in too quickly.

First, I want to ask about pensives. Didn't DD say that what he
inserts into the pensive are his thoughts. If the 'memories' that
Harry witnessed in the fourth book were inserted sortly after the
trials, then they would be pretty close to what actually happened.
However, SS was putting in the 'memories' at every meeting he had
with Harry. I'm wondering if his memory has changed.(as many
memories do)

Another thing is: maybe I'm just in denile, but I'm not quite sure
that Sirius is dead. Maybe there is some way that he can be saved,
especially with Harry's new "equal" status, he can find a way to save
his godfather.

Loony Lovegood: Did anyone else see her as a sort of Mary Sue, or
was that just me?

Except for the impossibility of Snape being re-accepted back into the
fold, I thought this was an excellent book. I'm all for a bit less
emphasis of Quidditch, and a bit more of the anger and depression I
thought Harry should have been feeling all along. I also love how
JKR left shippers open with Harry. She didn't leave us thinking that
Harry had his eyes clued to Cho (so we can be fond of other ships-
although I'm sure that wasn't her purpose).

Mind reading: several people have mentioned that a spell was used and
Harry knew that his mind was being probed, but we know that that
cannot always be the case. Harry recieving VD's feelings before VD
realized and Harry's probbing/cheating during History of Magic are
great examples.

Wandless magic: Seems to me that there are even more examples in
this book of the abundance of wandless magic. Apparation, mind
reading. Interested to see more of that.

Vampires: Come on! I've been waiting for them and they were
mentioned only twise in passing? I really thought we would get to
meet one. :(

Decrees: So, what happens to all these decrees that were passed by
DU? Does Harry get to fly again? How could she have banned him for
LIFE in the first place? Can Harry go to Hogsmead? And if so, can
he still because the 'guardian' that gave permission is now dead?
Will MM keep her promise to help Harry become an auror? Is it at all
possible that Harry got an O in potions? If not, are we going to see
much Snape in the next books?

And finally, does this mean that Fudge is not a Death Eater?

Maybe I'm just looking for conspiracies,

Sarah
