Just to clarify, I couldn't remember myself, so I got out my copy of 
GOF this morning.  While Krum asks Hermione for a word, Ron tells 
Harry to watch for the arrival of the carriages so he can spy on 
their conversation.  I was hoping there were no carriages, because 
this whole Thestral thing is bugging me, but alas, they take them to 
the station.
