 Cindy:

This was obvious at the end of ootp, when he encounters Snape in
the Great Hall. He'll never forgive him for what exactly? For
saving his life?

Darrin:

Show me where Snape has saved Harry's life once. The closest he came
was in PS/SS, and it was Hermione who ultimately stopped Quirrell.
Snape did hold Quirrell off, but Hermione made the save.
>snip<
Harry arguably saved Snape from the dementors by conjuring Prongs.
Snape thought Occlumency was so important that he stopped teaching
Harry -- and if Lupin and Dumbledore actually did confront Snape,
STILL refused to teach Harry. Dumbledore says, pg. 833, that Snape
couldn't teach Harry because he hated James too much.
So... the fate of the kid who can destroy the Dark Lord is at stake,
not to mention the location of the Order AND Snape's own safety, but
hey, James made Snape do cartwheels and show his undies, so screw
all that.
Yes, indeed, Harry should get on bended knee.

Now me (Kirstini):
I assumed that Harry would "never forgive" Snape for his goading of
Sirius, which was a very big factor in his leaving the house that
day. If Harry has a hero-complex, then it's magified to the power of
ten in Sirius, as Dumbledore (sort of) says. However, I think it's
something he's going to have to overcome - Sirius dies almost
arbitarily, really - in order to take NEWT Potions next year. Or
maybe Snape will end up teaching DADA, finally? Ooh, conflict.

Hey, Darrin, howsabout "The Tonks" for a band name?
