I'm not sure if I subscribe to the DeathEater!Lupin, or 
VolderThingySupporter!Lupin, but especially after OotP, I definitely 
believe that there is a LOT more to Lupin than is apparent on the 
surface, and that it's NOT GOOD.

There are several old threads about Evil!Lupin which are very 
interesting (made me think), and I noted some of JKR's comments 
about Lupin in this post:
