One of the big questions we all have (and Harry too)is how is Harry
going to defeat LV. I rememember thinking back to SS and CoS and
wondering how Snape could be so mean and "dark" and yet be on the
side of DD. I wonder if these two ponderies could be related.
We know that James saved Snape. I wonder if that act of "Love" - a
big theme in OotP and Harry's great power LV can never have - was
enough to strip away Snape's ability to help out the Dark Lord so to
speak.
In that, what if Harry actually "saves" LV and that destroys him as
well? - because DD has told LV that dying is not necessarily the
worst fate to meet (obviously not word for word quotes, but my book
is not right here with me).
I don't believe that Harry will lose his power. We all know how much
Harry loves Hogwarts - he seems very "Snapelike" in his attitude
towards Hogwarts - it is his home. Stripping him of his powers and
making him spend the remainder of his life in a Muggle world where no
one cares for him or understands would be worse than death for Harry.
Anyways - I know it is a stretch, but after all they are just
thoughts.
Happy rereading,
Epona
