OOP: spoiler... Ginny coming of age

in oop Ginny is the seeker of the G-quidditch team.  I'm sorry I can't
find the page were she is talking to Harry and telling him she is
hoping next year she can be a chaser on the G-quidditch team.  And
Harry kept saying I'm banned for LIFE... from playing quiditch.  


Was it just me or did Ginny seem very mature, telling Harry her plans
and taking the burden off him next year of knocking Ginny out of her
seeker spot on the team?  She tells him first she would like to be a
chaser.... 

But, I also had a odd thought that maybe
Harry might want to be a beater (oops is that what they are called
with the bats?  Fred and George's spots on the team?)  ... my head is
starting to fog with all of the posts that I have read.. all of which
are great by the way...

I thought that Ginny must be a good seeker she kept catching it.. and
Wood told
Harry a log time ago (book 1) that he was good with a bat and would
have made a good beater.  I think that Harry likes to be on the
Quidditch team not just the star seeker.  

But,  it's just an odd
thought and was wondering if anyone else noticed how Ginny made it a
point to talk to Harry and reassure him that she is not taking
quiddich from him .. and she seems to be the only one to reasure Harry
that the life time bann from quidditch is only as long as Prof
Umbridge is at Hogwarts.  She seems fairly sure that evil Umbridge is
gonna get kicked out, 

While Harry is struggling with lots of issures
that 15 year olds would have a tough time with ie: getting kicked off
the school team... having to write lines like a first year and them
realizing that Umbridge's quill is using Harry's own blood... and the
humilation of being told not to tell lies as  if he were a baby... and 
to top it off:
DD is not looking him in the eye nor speaking to him. This has got to
be hard to take, because DD alway gave Harry security is each of the
other books that was where Harry ran too DD's office... but this year
Harry felt he didn't even have that.. oh and lest I forget Harry also
felt dirty and contaminated because he felt LV had taken over his
mind.. and Ginny was the only one who could talk to him about that
too.. Having had her mind taken over by LV.  Both of them being
victims of the same evil man... She helped Harry alot in the oop... I
really felt for Harry but,
I also really started to like Ginny.  More so than before, in the gof
 all she seemed to do was giggle.
