That's a good one. I don't think its Neville, he is definitely
not "late in life". Besides McGonagall hints that he can do it, all
he lacks is confidence, which he is slowly gaining during this book.
Personally I think that Aunt Petunia starting to do some magic has a
great potential in the plot; Filch and Figg really makes no
difference. Some have said earlier that Petunia may have just been
shadowed by her sister and turned out jelous and angry, trying to
repress anything out of the ordinary in herself. We already saw her
defy Vernon; this could be just the start. The protection she and
her house provides seems to be very important; she may have to do her
own bit in the later books to save her family if Voldemort decides to
come after them. This is very likely since Voldemort would want to
remove the protection guarding Harry.
