Emma:
Yes, JK did really say that on the Today Show/Dateline. I think that
was the reasoning for Sirius' death - to prepare us for more to come.
As for Lupin, he doesn't take the potion anymore. That was just when
he was working at Hogwarts. DD couldn't have him attacking any
students, and Snape made the potion for him. Well.... I guess Snape
could be making it for him now due to the Order, but I doubt it.
Someone mentions the full moon and Lupin in the book - or am I
starting to confuse fanfic?
Anyway, don't torture yourself about it. :-)
