My Crazy Theory re OOP : Neville

There are just too many posts to read through, so if this was already 
posted, forgive me. 

I'm wondering if maybe history won't repeat itself...
Just like James friend Peter turned on him, Harry's friend Neville 
may do the same. Neville, like Peter was never in the same league as 
his friends. Maybe Neville will grow tired of not being good enough, 
especially if he hears about the prophecy and the fact that it 
could've easily been him with the scar and the great magical powers. 
He could become easy prey for Voldemort who could promise him fame 
and power. It would be so easy for Neville to become a spy. Harry, 
Ron, and Hermione would never suspect a thing!
