My Harry Horror Story

Hello fellow Potterheads!  This is my first real post, so please bear 
with me.  I am NOT going to put any spoilers in here, so everyone can 
read this.  I just had to share this with others who would truly 
appreciate the magnitude, the agony, the horror.  I got my book 
Friday nite at 12:01, just like most everyone here I imagine.  I 
started reading it immediately, and only slept when I literally 
passed out with the book dangling from my comatose fingertips.  So by 
Sunday afternoon, I was 4 chapters to the end, and with only 95 pages 
to go.  So here I am reading page 786, and I go to the top of the 
next page to finish my sentence, when I notice something isn't right. 
I also notice the next page is 739, followed by 740, etc.  So this 
continues until I reach 786 a second time, and I think, finally!  But 
to my horror, the next page was not 787 like it should have been, but 
835! I WAS MISSING 50 PAGES!!! And not just any 50 pages, this was 
one entire chapter, bookended by the end of one and the beginning of 
another, this was the part where the character dies and everything!   
I literally screamed.  I called the bookstore and they said all 6 of 
their locations in town were sold out, but they would be glad to 
exchange it for me when some more books came in next week.
YEAH, RIGHT!  So I went on a mad Harry Hunt, and found a book 
somewhere else with ALL its pages, and I finished it in about an 
hour, with many sniffles and tears.  I just hope the first place will 
give me a refund!
