But, is that really what she said? Or did she say this character is
dead? To me that may very well mean that Alive!Corporeal!Sirius is
indeed gone, but Beyond!the!Veil! Sirius (in some form or another)
might very well make an appearance.
Sirius will be back. In some form. In some way. Perhaps only in
people's thoughts, or in people's memories, but he will exert an
influence. If JKR starts the next book with Harry's summer, she will
have to deal with this death and its impact on Harry. Whatever the
meaning we the readers see in this death, Harry still has to deal
with it and he will also have to deal with the admittedly inadvertant
part he played in it.
Plus, I honestly don't think we've seen the last of the MWPP/Snape
interactions.
