I just saw that interview recently. Sometime in the past week as a matter of 
fact. I'll look for it.

JKR didn't deny it.  Jessica (her daughter) asked her if Harry was going to 
be Head Boy.  JKR replied that "Maybe he doesn't want to be Head Boy"  Rowling 
reported that Jessica just looked at her and said: yup he's going to be Head 
Boy. Perhaps she knows her mother better than we do?
