According to the prophecy, either Neville or Harry could have been the
chosen ones but LV chose Harry. The core of both Harry's wand and LV's wand
have the feathers given from the same Phoenix. LV choose Harry and the wand
chose Harry<<

****Koticzka's comment:
It is weird that Neville was not chosen by the wand. Whatever the reason
was, I suspect he will do much better with a new one.
And there is no reason to suspect that the phoenix gave a third feather, nor
is there proof that the wand does matter.

The prophecy is not clear to me at all. And unless it is the nature of
prophecies to be misty and fuzzy, it does not absolutely point to Harry.
As I do not have the book with me (and am still spending time on theories
instead of building a solid proof), the interpretation might be not exact.
But the power the boy has, which V. is not conscious of, Neville might have,
even though he is considered clumsy. The mark the boy was given by V. does
not necessarily mean the scar. Moreover, we do not know anything about
Neville's scars. He might also have one!

Coming back to the wand: If Harry's wand is the same as V's - is it not
possible that Harry's destiny is to fight by V.'s side - consciously or
not - and Neville's destiny is to win?

As I remember, there was only hints as to how the charm put on the spheres
worked. I also wonder whether the person was allowed to take the sphere
based on label or content.

Of course, the changing the main hero in the last part of the series would
not be good in books for children. But, since JKR writes for an older and
older audience, consideration of the subject would keep us burning with
anticipation! A smart marketing approach again...

By the way - I was stunned by how many of the theories and threads from this
group appeared to be correct. I am much too lazy to check up on it, but:
Are there any J. K. Rowlings among us, please???
I would not be very surprised, as this group would be an excellent way to
test ideas...

How can you hurt a man who has nothing?
Give him something broken.
