Oh, it's very possible that Hermione'll become Headmistress of
Hogwarts. Too possible, mayhaps. On the other hand, though, are you
sure you'd like the school being run by Hermione? Don't get me wrong,
I'm one of the very few people who proudly states that Hermione's his
favorite character, but I personally think that Dumbledore is the
ideal Headmaster for a school like Hogwarts and that McGonnagall,
though superb, would just lack his quirkiness, his little twangs of
weirdness and humor. Hermione, as very often mentioned, is uncannily
like McGonnagall. I must admit, though, that in OOP she was a lot
more 'Headmistress-material' than before, what with her starting up
the DA and inviting Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws in it, and even
talking with Ron and Harry about the need for uniting the Houses,
even Slytherin!
I, personally, can see Hermione doing something like freeing the
House Elves or something grandiose like that. She has the rare
ability of being able to become almost whatever she wishes to become.
She's smart, brave, loyal, honest, doesn't mind doing a /lot/ of work
and is even turning out to be quite pretty indeed. Apart from playing
Quidditch for England, I can see her becoming, well, anything - as
long as it's AWESOME :D
Cheers,
Alon
