Me too, KLMF, me too.  Count me in as one American who was not happy 
at all the "translating" that went on in the first books.  If I'm 
going to get into these books to the degree I'm getting into these 
books, then hey--I want the FULL JKR-authentic, "UK experience"!

I mean, come on, fellow Americans--who doesn't love learning (& 
beginning to use?) "prat," "git," "jumper," "fringe" and all that?
