Mike:
Interesting theory, but for some of your examples I can't see how
they have numerous mentions.
1) Was Dumbledore's scar mentioned anywhere other than in PS/SS in
the first chapter? The main thing that supports this being useful is
the fact that scars have much importance in the series, and is said
by Dumbledore himself on more then one occasion.
2) I can see the CoS coming back, but I don't remember anything
about the pipes or it mentioned in anything but a flashback.
3) Ministry underground, definitely. The Ministry of Magic has
become more and more important as the series go on, and still has
some mysteries about it such as Percy.
4) Gringotts underground. I do like your theory about this, as we
know that lakes presumeably are portals. (Durmstrang boat in GoF).
However I don't see how this has been mentioned. Can you think of
any more examples where the Gringotts underground has been
mentioned. Specifically the underground though, as I know that
Gringotts has been mentioned slighty in every book.
I see a somewhat overused Cliche if everyone comes to help Harry
during his final battles, but it would make things interesting. I'm
looking forward to a big clash myself between the DE's/Order Members
& DA. Well, I'd like to see the DA play a bigger part in the
fighting later on.
Ok I got sidetracked, do you have any more references to the
Gringotts underground in the series that I may have missed?
