Yes, but think of the ones Voldie could call up..Smaug..another 
Balrog....and Shelob was never finished off was she ? (I have always 
wondered if she was Aragog's great-aunt). Horror in deep dark 
underground places.. its a classic device, I agree.

JKR certainly has that sleeping dragon still snoozing away under 
Hogwarts, for instance....who is going to be foolish enough to tickle 
him/her, I wonder, and to whose benefit ? I think we will definitely 
find out all twelve uses of dragon's blood before the end.
