Now me Phil.
When Dumbledore said the below, I was thinking of the Muggle
  underground,

"Scars can come  in handy.
  I have one myself above my left knee that
is a perfect map of the London Underground."

But later, Hagrid said,
"Gringotts is hundreds of miles under London,
  see. Deep under the Underground."

Maybe Dumbledore's scar  is a map of Gringotts' Underground.
