It's no fault of yours.

Maggie Smith (McGonagall) and Sean Biggerstaff (Oliver Wood) both use 
Scots accents. Sean is a Glaswegian as is Robbie Coltrane (Hagrid) 
who uses a very strangled pseudo-West Country accent.

As someone who speaks with basically a South-east English accent 
(intermixed with archaeological remnants of the North country accent 
which I possessed until the age of 9), I have trouble with strong 
Scots accents myself so I sympathise with you.

JKR only brings out the accents in writing in the case of Hagrid but 
since McGonagall has a Scots (descended from Irish) name, one 
imagines her using one. Wood has an accent in the film because Sean 
is, as he puts it in a DVD interview, "a wee lad from Glasgie" rather 
as Billy Boyd in LOTR makes Pippin a Scots hobbit
