Bookworm:
The tournament *used* to be conducted every five years, but hasn't
been held for several hundred years. The event was an attempt to
revive the tournament but we don't know yet if it will be routine.

Bookworm:
Since the students were staying in the ship and the carriage, I
suspect those are like the QWC tent - larger inside than out. There
may be classrooms in there. However, there were no other adults
introduced, so another option is that arrangements may have been
made for them to study with the older Hogwarts students. The trio
wouldn't have been in class with them, so the topic just didn't come
up.
