So, doesn't Arthur have a role in whether or not Ron has a new wand? 
Is he a bad father?  Ron went to school with a used wand (as did 
Neville)  Did he ever tell his parents he broke it? 

I think we all bring our own experiences as children and as adults as 
we place Molly on the continuum of controlling parent-----nurturing 
parent.  And we seem as a group to have her at every posible point!
