Green eyes, green flash, scar on forehead...

Many of you are debating whether it was just Lily's love that
protected Harry during the LV attack. I have been reading posts -
and admittedly may have missed if someone else posted this already.
I am not debating whether Lily's love for Harry is in his blood as it
obviously is, but that there is more to this whole death/rebound
scene.

One thing stuck out at me from the recent webchat:
---
Don't want to rune the ending, but will we be finding out more about
the significance of the shape of Harry's scar in future books?

JK Rowling replies -> The shape is not the most significant aspect of
that scar, and that's all I'm going to say!
---
(hee hee, I have to chuckle at the misspelling of "rune" - no pun on
ancient runes I hope.) Anyway, I was thinking about what else might
be significant about the scar that we don't already know, and I
wonder if it is the position. That is, the position being near the
eyes.

It is well documented in canon, though I don't have my books in front
of me (and am too lazy to get them), that Harry sees a green flash as
part of the attacks and we have seen that the AK appears to emit a
green light.

What if the light flashing was from Lily's eyes? In OoP we learned
that wizards/witches can have magical powers like Tonks' ability to
change appearance. What if Lily's eyes were part of her own magical
power? What if the continued references to switching spells we have
been receiving are because Lily switched her eyes to Harry, and THAT
is why the AK rebounded - from the spell of Lily's eyes being
switched with Harry's? This would also explain continued litany of
Harry having his mother's eyes. What if that reference is literal?

Thoughts? Am I repeating a frequent theory?
