Just a small point on the eye color 'thing'. They key is, the curse
has to hit the person in the face for the eyes to reflect back the
curse. So, if Voldie gave Lily a 'body shot' they it would have killed
her, but Harry was very small and probably in a crib or some other
type of enclosed baby bed. In the Movie that Must Not Be Named, baby
Harry was sitting up in a bassinet or cradle, which would indicate
that his head was indeed the easiest target.

Well, I'm convinced there is something going on with dragon blood too,
although, I'm not sure if this is the part of the story where it fits
in. Based on JKR's most recent interview, or was it the one where she
commented on one of the foreign covers not showing Harry with glasses,
where his eyes being a point of vulnerability was mention; that very
much made me think of the eyes being the vulnerable part of a dragon.
So you may be on to something there too. Are his eyes his strength or
his weakness, or maybe both?

TOO MANY possibilities and not enough information; the curse of the
obsessed HP fan.
