My point is that Harry was not supposed to see it in the books. A
clue. Just because Harry doesn't see it doesn't mean it isn't there.
As for shoddy editing, on a film of this magnitude such a huge
mistake simply would not be made. The figure was obvious enough for
more than one person to spot it, and editors wouldn't have missed it.
That is, after all, their job. As for Harry seeing two figures across
the lake, the figure was quite a ways behind him, so he wouldn't have
ben able to see it (in the shade of the forest) from across the lake.
In any event, this is turning into a discussion about the trailer,
and I am starting to feel really guilty about posting it in the first
place, so maybe we should just drop it...
Bonny, looking sheepish because this is getting so far from canon.
