But, this connection is not borne out in OotP.  Ginny having been 
possessed by Diary!Tom doesn't seem to help Harry any.  Her 
experience with TR isn't at all like Harry's eventual possession by 
Voldie.  She's not able to warn Harry of being used by Voldie because 
of some inner knowledge of TR's mind (however, Hermione does). For 
all of their 'shared experience/overcoming possession', JKR chooses 
Hermione, to join the ranks of 'Those who are not afraid to say 
Voldemort'.  I don't think that the 'Voldie' connection is a strong 
argument for H/G.
