Finwitch:
I'm going with the watch. After all, we DO know that Molly's clock
has that sort of ability. And yes, I think it has 3 hands for Potters
(so he knew Harry to be alive and Lily&James dead), 3 for Longbottoms
(Well, Neville was the *other* prophecy kid.) The other 6... Well,
I'd say Minerva, Snape and Hagrid have hands in it.. 3 left?
(Pettigrew didn't have one! Otherwise Dumbledore would have known
long time ago he was still alive!) However, the other three -- I'd
say Aberforth (well Aberforth IS his brother!) and well... maybe he
had one for Sirius (well, Sirius was supposed to be Secret Keeper for
Potters as far as he knew) and another for whoever was Secret Keeper
for Neville Longbottoms whereabouts...
The planets, then... well, Dumbledore possibly knows about Centaurs'
wisdom, (although, as Firenze pointed out, he IS a human). Why not
have the planet-movements show on it as well? (I doubt Dumbledore
would need hour-minute-clock anyway).
