Regarding the tears scene:
The scene might have originally been filmed without Harry crying, but 
with him just being upset/mad. The director may have later decided 
that Harry did not appear as upset as he should have, and requested 
that the crying sounds be added during the film editing. Since Harry 
was not visible under the cloak, adding crying noises is easy. 
Unfortunately, they should have added tears to his face as well. 

This type of thing happens all the time.
