I agree that the DA will play an important role. It is exactly what
the Sorting Hat prescribed - except the Slytherin participation. I
hear what you are saying about the Slytherin's, but I haven't made up
my mind yet.

Hmmm...if this were last book, I would probably agree with you about
Snape being DADA teacher. However, JKR appears to have this formula
of choosing someone we've never heard of. It is hard to tell. If it
is someone we know, I wonder if it could be someone like Bill
Weasley. There have been hints that we would see more of him and he
could help guard Harry - something I think Dumbledore will be anxious
to do. I can't imagine that DD would believe Snape capable of truely
guarding Harry next year. Even though he did the right things in
OOP, neither he nor Harry were happy about it and that wouldn't bode
well. JKR mentioned that Harry will be spending his energy on things
other than becoming an animagus, but I don't think we've really seen
that yet. I wonder if we'll see more of charms than DADA next year.
Prof. Flitwick obviously has more to offer and none of it has been
explored.

Also, I believe that Harry will still be in potions under Snape - due
to his drive to be an Auror. Reading the owls section with potions
in OOP, I'm guessing that Snape is a better teacher than Harry
thought he was :). Instead of seeing Harry's face going into a Snape-
taught DADA class, I would love to see Snape's face when he realizes
that Harry will still be with him for potions.
