It really bothers me that Harry never asks questions. I realize that
this is the way JKR keeps us from finding out information she is not
ready to reveal, but it still bothers me.
Why don't we know who Petunia and Lily's parents are/were? Is it
because we have already heard of them?
Why isn't Harry curious about his grand parents?
Who was the other person, that along with Dumbledore, heard the
prophecy? Why was that person thrown out of the tavern? (Is it
illegal to over hear a prophecy?)
Why make such a big deal about apparating, but yet allow students to
time travel which seems potentially more dangerous. (Why introduce
time travel at all unless it becomes important later?)
Why was Dumbledore against hiring a fortune teller as a professor
before hearing the prophecy? Is he a seer himself?
At Sirius's house there is a book on wizard geneology. Why didn't
Harry look through it?
What was the spell that killed Luna's mother?
Why was the Sorcerer's Stone/Philosopher's Stone hidden at a school?
Is Nicolas Flamel a teacher at the school?
Is it possible to time travel way back into the past? Has anyone done
it? Has anyone from the past come to the future?
Sorry, I'm on a roll...
