Ginger interjects:
It bugs me too, but I have faith that she will reveal all in her good
time. :) Perhaps someone should slip Harry a curiosity potion.
I don't have answers to all your questions, but I do have them for
two of them:

> Why don't we know who Petunia and Lily's parents are/were? Is it
> because we have already heard of them?

Ginger again: According to JKR's most recent chat, Harry's
grandparents are dead and are not important to the story (although,
she added, we will be learning a bit more about them)

> Why isn't Harry curious about his grand parents?

Ginger: Perhaps he read the chat transcript :)

> Why was the Sorcerer's Stone/Philosopher's Stone hidden at a school?
> Is Nicolas Flamel a teacher at the school?

Ginger: Nope, he lives a quiet life in Devon with his wife Pernelle.
(SS paperback, US edition, p. 220) Hagrid did say that Hogwarts was
safer than Gringotts. (p. 63)

I love questions. I love answers. I can't wait until they meet.

Ginger, thanking vmonte for these interesting trains of thought to
ponder as I go to sleep. Nighty-night!
