Ginger:
Glad you jumped back! I think you are totally correct about the
reason the Order didn't destroy the prophecy. I would also like to
echo those on the list who pointed out that as long as LV was on a
wild goose chase trying to *get* the prophecy, he wasn't out doing
other Eviloverlordish things. In other words, they dangled a carrot
and let him run in circles.
I don't think any explaination was necessary for Arthur's presence at
the MoM that night. Remember when DD sent Everard to raise the
alarm? He told him to be sure that Arthur was found "by the right
people". I would assume that this means that the Order has people in
the Ministry who could get Arthur out of there, clean up the mess,
and have no one else the wiser.
Dilys was sent on to St. Mungo's. I'm sure she found the "right"
people too. Ones that would be trustworthy to tell the story to, or
at least would ask no uncomfortable questions.
I wonder just how big the Order is, including supporters of DD, that
is.
Ginger, who thinks Lockhart was blowing smoke on the whole Wagga
Wagga incident, but has nothing intelligent to post on the matter.
