Well, she has...

OOPT, when they were doing the Draught of Peace

"That was really unfair," said Hermione consolingly, sitting down next to
Harry and helping herslf to sheperd's pie. "Your potion wasn't nearly as
bad as Goyle's, when he put it in his flagon the whole thing shattered and
set hes robes on fire." "Yeah, well," said Harry, gloering at his plate,
"since when has Snape ever been fair to me?" Neither of the others
answered...
<snip> "I did think he might be a bit better this year," said Hermione in a
disappointed voice. "I mean...you know...<snip>...he's in the Order and
everything." (pg 235, US hardback)

Not only does she objectively said Goyle's potion was worse, she admits that
Snape's *always* been unfair.

Further, DD admits that Snape shouldn't have taught Harry occulemency,
because, as he tells Harry "I thought Professor Snape could overcome his
feelings about your father--I was wrong." This, too me, seems wrong of DD.
He put Snape in charge of Harry *knowing* that there was a bad history
there. Harry didn't know it until OOTP. But DD did, and he still put Harry
in that situation. IMHO, DD should have set Snape down and told him to grow
up a few years ago.

I've avoided the Snape discussion for many reasons. I'm new here, and I
really like him as a character. But as a teacher, I think he's at best
unfair, and at worst, a complete dictator.
