Yes, good question to ask!  I have no idea which--if any--of the 
staff would have reason to know.  I *suspect* that anyone in the 
Order would know, but that's just DD & McGonagall [and former 
teachers Lupin and Moody--well, not that he really got to teach!] 
that we know of, right?

Hmmm.  If most of the staff *doesn't* know, then it's interesting 
that we haven't seen his favoritism remarked upon by staff....  [I 
know, Snape defenders may tell me that it's because only Harry 
perceives the favoritism. :-)]
