Notice that the DADA teacher curse doesn't begin until Harry arrives
at school, and I very much suspect that once Harry leaves school the
curse will be lifted.
It's not so much that the job is really curse as it is that Harry's
presencs at the school is creating trying and difficult times. Harry's
re-entering the wizard world, also coinsides with Voldemort becoming
more active which in turn leads to Voldemort's eventual rebirth.
I think Voldemort is aware that he can't let Harry become a full grown
fully trained wizard, or his chances of ever coming back are near
non-existant. So Voldemort is making one last desperate push to
reclaim his throne, before Harry becomes too powerful.
So, between Harry re-entering the wizard world, and Voldemort in one
last desperate push to regain power, circumstance are created that
make the DADA teacher job very volatile.
Just a thought.
