Harry's disposition

I think Harry is acting perfectly normal considering
his circumstances in OoP.

He was shut away with his Aunt and Uncle for a month
and not told anything after what he went through the
previous school year.  THEN he was attacked by
dementors.

THEN he gets a letter saying he is kicked out of
school, then another letter saying to stay where he is
without much explanation, and then another letter
saying he will have to stand trial.

THEN he is taken to the Order and STILL not given too
much information.

He BARELY passes his trial, and DD won't look a him
(for good reason) but doens't bother to tell HP WHY,
nor does he inform anyone else.  So, for an entire
year HP thinks DD doesn't like him or something.

His two best friends are made prefect (a little bit of
an ego shock/let down)  And to top it all off, his
worst enemy, Malfoy, is also a prefect.  So, now,
instead of Malfoy being an "equal student" whom HP
dislikes, now Malfoy has a small AUTHORITY over HP. 
Which in itself is EXTREMELY frustrating.

He goes back to school only to find out he's the
laughing stock of the WW and has to deal with Umbridge
calling him a liar and slicing open the back of his
hand night after night.  And, he has to put up with
even some of his so called "friends" at school not
believing him and thinking he's off his rocker.

He is constantly worried about his loved ones and
friends getting killed.  He continually has nightmares
about Cedric, the door, LV, etc.  

He has to deal with the stress of O.W.L.'s and Snape
beating down his throat.

He is dealing with conflicting emotions with Cho, whom
he really likes.  But, at the same time, HP has little
experience in the romatic field and has to deal with
new situations and feelings.

The list goes on and on........

I would be a little peeved (no, not Peeves!) too if
this was going on in my life.  A 15 year old boy can
only handle so much!  

If Harry is a little angry and snappy at times, he has
every right to be!
