Quite right. Hermione tells Harry quite emphatically that they
absolutely must NOT mess around with the past and DD warns them not to
be seen by their earlier selves. All they can actually do,safely, is *make*
history.Time travel is always a messy concept anyway. The Potters are dead,
as are a whole lot of other people. If it was as simple as using a time turner,
why not just go back and wipe out Tom Riddle? Where would it end?
