>Hi everyone!,
I am re-reading GoF and I noticed something that may be important to this discussion
about Crouch Jr., When Mr. Crouch, Sr comes stumbing out of the Forbidden Forest after
escaping from LV and he is talking to the tree...he says something very interesting, He
says that his son received 12 OWLS...yes, we are very proud of him. So, doesn't this mean
that Barty Jr., had the potential, even at Hogwarts to be a very powerful wizard? He had it
in him, and probably would have learned Dark Arts from the DE's very quickly. I had
thought it unlikely, at first that he would have been able to REALLy participate in the
torture and what not that the DE's were doing, but now that I have noticed this little
phrase, I have to re-think my first supposition.
