But if it is self defence (and I do believe it is) Draco's being a
bastard is completely irrelevant. Moreover, once you start to bring
up his moral qualities and innumerate Harry's grievances against
Draco you instantly make Harry's own motives suspect. If Harry took
all the wrongs Draco had committed into consideration the whole
thing would look less like self-defence and more like revenge.
