AmanitaMuscaria now - Lily's eyes fits this so well! I think, between 
you all, that you've got the importance of Lily's eyes!
I do wonder, however, what Lily would have said about the 
Sectumsempra and some of the other doubtful spells in the book? Snape 
appears to be very jealous of the spells in the book - would that be 
because he hates the thought of Harry being able to read them?
Could there have been some leakage of the Levicorpus spell to a 
Marauder, leading to Snape's calling Lily mudblood?
