Some Questions on Book 6

  I'm actually a new member of this group, and yes, I am a great fan of Harry Potter. I have just actually finished Book 6: the Half Blood Prince and was quite stunned that Snape murdered Dumbledore. 
   
  Can anyone tell me if:
   
  1. Dumbledore is really dead or would be returning back in the last Book (I hope so)?
  2. Was the killing of Dumbledore by Snape a deliberate one or is just a front to continue his spying duty on Voldemort?
