Um, and that is of course Snape job to make sure that EVERY point 
Trio received during their school career is a fair one. :) Thanks 
for the laugh, Pippin.  

Troll's incident is done and over with. Another teacher awarded them 
points.

The way I see it it is Snape's joy and pleasure in life to torment 
Harry and he is happy to take any posibility to do so.

I speculate that he vicariously relives Pensieve scene here. James 
is dead, so let's make James' son life as a total misery.
