Perhaps...but I still don't see it. Draco was at the school on time
with all the other students. Harry showed up with Tonks very late. He
missed the Sorting, and the dinner afterwards. If Harry had fended
Draco off, of if someone had intervened on Harry's behalf at the time
of the attack, why would Harry have been so late?
